West Branch Crime Incidents

As of 10/1/08 West Branch has been very fortunate that we have not had what appears to be an increase of criminal incidents.  Other neighborhoods of the city have seen an increase in crime in their neighborhoods.

We were informed by the Newark Police Department that the incident that occurred 2/3/09 - 2/6/09 appears to be a theft and not a burglary.  The items were discovered missing after a contractor had been working at the home.

This page was started to track the incidents of crimes (vandalism, burglary, etc.) in West Branch to monitor for indications of an increase that would require us to contact the city police department to request information and steps to be taken to prevent the increase.

If you are unfortunate and have any criminal activities at your home, please be sure to notify the Newark Police Department and also please drop us a note westbranchca@comcast.net or give us a call at 292-0642 , to give us the information pertaining to the incident so that we can update or log and keep other West Branch residents informed.
