"Just for Fun"
In the hectic, hi-tech world we live in today everybody needs an enjoyable distraction. Some of us have taken up hobbies, crafts or other things to relax and have a little time for ourselves. For some of these it is nice to have others to share the fun. It is also nice to introduce new people to something that they may enjoy.
This page can be used to inform others of fun distractions that they might enjoy and also to make contact with other folks with the same interest. Whether it is woodworking, model railroads, quilting, ceramics, sailing, knitting, golf or whatever.
Please let us know what you enjoy doing in your "spare" time and we will pass it on to others to inspire them. If you have photos, please send them along too. If you need some photos of your work, contact us and we can arrange to take photos of your project or items to include with your post.

Crochet/Knitting Group - If you like to knit or crochet, you might be interested in joining the group that meets once a month at Diana Adamson’s house, 4 Fairvalley Ct. We knit or crochet baby afghans and donate them to the Linus Project which provides baby items for families in need. We usually start at 1:00 p.m. and end around 3:30 – 4:00. We have a really good time chatting and helping each other on our projects. If you’re interested in joining our group, give Teresa Purvis a call at 292-0642 or email to Teresa Purvis. We’d love to have you.
