Faithful Friends in West Branch
Gone but Never Forgotten Friends
Below are photos of some of our faithful friends that are no longer with us. But will always be missed and never forgotten by many.
![]() Bo - Was a big friendly fellow that lived with Ro & Dave Brinton
|
![]() Dennis - Sure wish I had a better photo. This is when he was very old. In his younger days he was quite a regal site. We called him "Prince Dennis". I'm sure many of you had seen him on his daily walks around the neighborhood. |
![]() Jake - He lived with Steve & Teresa Purvis. He was my sisters friend, but when she passed away he came to live with us. He was a very friendly guy, but being raised in the country he was not used to seeing all the people walk by the house. He thought he had to run out and bark at everyone that walked by. |
![]() Andrew #1 and Sheeba - Steve & Teresa Purvis. These two moved in with us and have long ago passed on, but still fondly remembered. They were inseparable, I think they actually thought they were brother and sister. Guess they never looked in a mirror. |
![]() Andrew #2 - Steve & Teresa Purvis. We had just lost Andrew #1 and this fellow showed up as a stray at the Higgins' home and they were kind enough to send him to live with us. It must have been fate that brought him to our home, he had already been named Andy. Turned out well, he lived with us for over 14 years. |
![]() Zeus - Steve & Teresa Purvis. We adopted Zeus 10 years ago from a rescue center. He had been found wandering the streets of Baltimore. He was 6 years old when he came to join our family. He was a sweet little dog and we will miss him very much. But, he had been in poor health for the last few months and finally we had to put him to sleep on 2/8/11. |
![]() Heidi - Mark & Lo Varites. Heidi passed away 10/7/11. She will certainly be missed by all of her family and West Branch neighbors. |
